How to solve the Epson printer not printing problem?

Epson is a famous and reliable industry known for manufacturing electronic and hardware goods. Epson printers are very robust and you can easily set the printer with your device. But some Epson printers reported that their Epson printer is not working. The printer device can show printing issues due to various reasons. 

Run printer troubleshooter

When your printer shows you an error; you should run the troubleshooter. This troubleshooter will check for the error which can cause printer related errors. Open the computer and click on the Update and security page. Now you have to click on the troubleshooter page. Select the printer option and then choose to troubleshoot. The inbuilt printer troubleshooter will start running. After running the troubleshooter, it will repair the printer related error. Click on the result page and then for the error. If the error is resolved then now you can take printouts. If the printer is still in error then check other solutions.

Reconnect the Epson printer to the system

Your Epson printer won’t print if it is not connected. You can try reconnecting the printer to the device. Take out the cable and check for any damage. Reconnect it and make sure it is not loose. Now go to the printer and try to take a printout. For wireless, disable the Wi-Fi button. Go to your router and disable the WPS pin. Again, press the WPS pin and then restart the printer’s Wi-Fi. Check the network list on the printer and select your network. Now your Epson printer will start printing the documents.

Repair the driver

The printer will show a printing error when its driver is not working. Without the correct driver, the printer cannot work as it can’t understand the command. Inspect the installed driver on the system. If you don’t have the driver then visit the web and install it. After driver installation; the printer will start working. When your driver is not working; update it. Install the latest update and the printer will start understanding the print command. For a corrupted driver, users have to repair it. Go to Epson driver and repair the corrupt files manually. You can run a driver repair tool. This tool can be installed from the web. Run the tool for fixing the corrupted files. When the repair tool can’t fix the error then you should reinstall the Epson program on the system.

Remove all Windows junk files

Printing issues occur when the temp files are interrupting the print command. Computer acquires lots of junk on the system. The user has to delete all junk which can interrupt the processes on the system. Firstly, check for the temp files. Open the temp files folder. Select all and delete them. Now, open your drive and check for unnecessary files. After removing unnecessary files check the program folder. If you see any third-party or unnecessary programs uninstall them. These files and programs can corrupt various processes. If you can’t find all these files manually then you can run a junk cleanout tool on Windows. Users can run the cleanmgr tool and it will scan the system. Choose junk files from the list and then choose the OK button. After removing all junk, the user can try printing his documents with the Epson printer.

Remove the Epson print queue

When you see the printer is not printing error then you should inspect the queue. The printer stops working when the queue is overflowing. For taking new printouts, you have to remove the pending jobs. Choose the control panel and then search for hardware and sound. Now, choose devices and printer options and then tap on your printer’s name. Tap on see what’s printing and then right-click on the stalled print job. Hit on the All button and then tap on the Cancel button. All the print jobs will be removed from your Epson printer. Now restart the printer and give a new command from the connected device. You should also check the file as sometimes you can get an error when the file is invalid. Check the extension and repair your file before giving the print command.
