Utensils and ingredients Required

2 measuring cups
Saucepan
Ingredients:
½ cup olive oil
1.5 cup water
1/5 emulsifying wax
Heat some water Up
Add water into a saucepan and set it on a stove with a low to medium flame. The water that is being heated up is for water bathing. Make sure the saucepan is half full because we don’t want any excess water to fall out of the pan during the rest of the procedure.
Melt some oil and Wax
While the water is being heated, we must continue with the next step. Oil and emulsifying wax need to be melted. The simpler way of doing that is to use a heatproof measurer. For this purpose, only a single cup measurer is required. The oil and wax need to be poured into the measurer to be melted in the water bath. Carefully place the measurer in the water bath, and make sure to use a stirrer while you are mixing both the ingredients. Mixing them together will give a thick liquid texture that is essentially required.
Bring some water to Boil
We now require a 3 cup measurer that needs to be filled with water and placed into the microwave on high for a good 3 minutes until it starts boiling. If there is no availability of a microwave, use a stove to boil the water and then pour it into the measurer. The stove flame must be kept high, and make sure that the water is properly boiled to avoid any mess in the final result.
Combine the mixture with Water
Once you have attained a perfect thick mixture of oil and wax, pour it into the heated up water. Make sure you have the texture of skim milk. While you are combining everything, use a stirrer to mix well so that the combination does not harden.
Cooldown the Mixture
Let the mixture now down a bit. Stir it with a spoon or a stirrer and then pour it into a bottle or while it is still warm and can be poured out easily. Once the lotion hardens, it would be difficult to pour the lotion into the jar or the container, and a funnel might have to be used. However, with a wide mouth opening of the jar, pouring would not be difficult.
Shake it up!
Once the mixture has cooled down, completely cover the jar with its cap and give a good shake. The shaking would help in mixing up all the ingredients and allow them to dissolve completely.
