Stickers:
Food stickers may be considered a minor concern, but it is more likely that the stickers we find on our fruit and other food products will end up stuck inside our pipes and mixing with other garbage.
Paint:

Cotton Balls, towels and paper rolls:

Hair:
People often wash their hair when they’re taking a bath, shaving in the tub, and even brushing hair. But what happens is that hundreds of strands of hair build up in the pipes and other substances can become entangled in the hair, creating an uncomfortable clump, such as grease or larger particles.
Installing a simple mesh screen over all your drains, is the easiest way to avoid drains being blocked by hair build-up.
In the kitchen sink, a mesh panel can also catch food waste from washing up. They are easy to clean out just make it a habit to periodically clear them.
Fats and Oils :
Oil and fat are heavier than water, so while you can flush it down a toilet or wash it down a drain, it can accumulate and get stuck as soon as it reaches a bend in the pipe. Later, it strengthens and clogs over time resulting in a costly blockage.
Solution? If you have fat or grease, bring it into a sealable jar and throw it in the bin.
Food Waste:
Rice and pasta should all be put in the bin, as it swells when applied to water and can create a smelly blockage when collected. Since they take years to decompose, fruit pits should also avoid the drain, meaning they are more likely to block the drain. As they are likely to get stuck causing significant blockage, residual bones are also a big no.
Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals
According to local laws, engine oil, paint and solvents should be properly disposed of and never added to the water system where they will damage our groundwater and be harmful to plants and wildlife. For safe disposal, return discarded drugs to a chemist.
